Instructions for the bonding agent (Primer 94):
- The surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned beforehand with IPA wipes.
- Apply the primer to both surfaces to be bonded.
- Allow the solvent to evaporate for 2 minutes.
- Apply the tape and apply pressure.
Step-by-step application (orange)
- Cleaning: Thoroughly clean both surfaces to be bonded with IPA wipes (isopropanol) to remove grease and dust.
- Application: Wipe the primer evenly over both contact surfaces. Only a thin, even film should be formed.
- Flash-off time: Allow the solvent to evaporate for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, until the surface appears dry.
- Gluing: Apply the tape or adhesive to the prepared surface.
- To secure: Apply firm pressure to the adhesive area to ensure an optimal bond.
Important notes
on materials: Particularly effective on materials such as PE, PP, silicone or Teflon, which normally adhere poorly.
Safety:
This product is highly flammable and can cause skin irritation. Use only in well-ventilated areas.
Residue: Any primer residue can often be cleaned with isopropanol or a special adhesive remover.
